The Administration serves as the Administrative Branch of the Tribal Government by providing oversight to all Tribal and/or Federal programs operated by the Tribe and all Tribal employees. Following a complete reorganization in 2008, the Administration is now comprised of a Tribal Administrator, Deputy Administrator, Administrative Assistant and Administrative Receptionist. Prior to the expansion, all administrative and C.E.O. duties rested solely upon the Tribal Administrator. Now, with a reassignment of many of the programmatic functions to the Deputy Administrator the Tribal Administrator has more time to assist Tribal Council in the area of economic development and the performance of various C.E.O. related functions. Additionally, the T.A. continues to provide administrative oversight to the Deputy Administrator, Planning, Administrative Services, Natural Resources, Grants and Retail. The Deputy Administrator which is a new position created and implemented in the reorganization primarily focuses on day to day programmatic functions by providing administrative support to Facilities, Education, Health & Human Services, Public Safety and Tribal Services. Both the Tribal Administrator and Deputy Administrator also serve as a liaison to the Tribal Council on behalf of the numerous programs and Directors. Finally, the Administrative Assistant and Receptionist serve as the support staff for the Administration. Interim Tribal Administrator - Tina Battise (936) 563- 1102
