The Alabama-Coushatta Tribe of Texas administers a number of different programs for the young people of the tribe. These programs are administered through the local 4-H Windwalkers Chapter and through the Inner Voice Youth Council.
The 4-H Windwalkers offer opportunities for youth ages 6 to 18 years old to learn and have fun. Projects include: archery, cooking, sewing, aerospace, fishing, biking, and numerous other activities during the summer months.
The Inner Voice Youth Council participates in many events throughout the year including the National UNITY (United National Indian Tribal Youth) Conference - an organization of which the youth council is affiliated with. The Inner Voice Youth Council serves primarily youth 15 to 21 years old.
